Hal and Debra Rhinesmith were both born and raised in South Florida.  In October 2009, they moved to Gainesville.  They have been dancers since childhood.  Their dance background includes jazz, ballet, ballroom, and tap.  In his early adult years, Hal was trained as a professional ballroom instructor.  Five years ago they were introduced to Lindy Hop and immediately fell in love with the dance.  They later became involved in a Lindy Hop dance group that performed throughout Florida.   Since coming to Gainesville, they have decided to put together a group of dancers who would not only enjoy being a part of a performance team but also for those who just want to learn to swing dance.
